How to market a new blog from day 1?

What steps and marketing strategies would you recommend for a brand new blog without any existing traffic or audience?

I'm looking to start a blog on entrepreneurship and not sure where to start in order to get a readership.

Research on most searched key word on internet related with your blog keep on adding your Your url time to time on all big search engine

Keep yourself active on big blog and forum and try to post there do not spam just post something which is related to that topic which discussion going on that particular site you can post like reference/source: yoursiteurl.com/blog/post id

also reply with your blog url in high like page and group on facebook and other social media

When you reply some where in blog there is column of your website name put your website link there when some one click on your name they redirected to your website

one suggestion never spam your site otherwise your site and ip will be blacklisted

and always post some informative things in good edited way so that it gather traffic and people stay there and they will do mouth publicity as i did for my clients :)
