I don't know what sort of arrangement Dharmesh has made with Stack Exchange, and I don't know if he'd even be interested. But I imagine it would be helpful if when people go to answers.onstartups.com (or hit the "Answers" link on his menu bar) that instead of redirecting to the Area 51 page that says the site is dead, it would come over here instead.
Going a step beyond that, it would be cool if any links out there on the Internet pointing to answers.onstartups.com questions could be re-routed to the appropriate question here.
One concern in this is if people think they're going to answers.onstartups.com and end up here, they may be worried about what happened and be suspicious. I'm sure there's a technical solution to this. Perhaps something that would allow these visitors to see a little dismissable alert that explains why they're on Bright Journey instead of answers.onstartups.com, with a link they could follow that explains the details (blog post?). Perhaps something like "Answers.onstartups.com content has been moved to Bright Journey! Click here for more information."
I know there's a lot to sort out there, and it probably depends a lot on your relationship with Dharmesh, his relationship with SE, and your relationship with SE.
But on the other hand, there are likely tens or hundreds of thousands of broken links out on the Internet that could be caught by Bright Journey. Seems like it would be at least worth a 10 minute phone call.
